Food Description:

Broccolini is a proprietary product of Perfection Fresh. A cross between broccoli and Chinese kale, Broccolini baby broccoli combines an asparagus-like stem with tiny buds reminiscent of a mini broccoli head. Broccolini baby broccoli is an entirely edible, no-waste vegie which can eaten from tip to stem. Ultimately versatile, it suits all cuisine styles.

Look for fresh crisp stalks, brightness in colour with no yellowing and avoid those with flowering buds.

Store in a plastic vegetable bag in the crisper section of the fridge.

Vitamin C: Antioxidant, anti inflammatory and immune-boosting, this vitamin has a range of uses. Is essential for collagen formation, therefore plays a role in wound healing. Fights infection and protects against free radical damage. Vitamin C helps maintain normal cholesterol levels, promotes the absorption of iron and counters the effects of stress as it is concentrated in the adrenal glands.
